Welcome to Josie’s!
From the previous owners of the Merrick Inn comes a comfortable, inviting neighborhood café in beautiful Chevy Chase.
Our hope is that you feel a sense of southern hospitality from the moment you walk in. From our friendly staff, to our horseshoe -shaped counter for easy conversation with other guest, we hope you feel right at home. We make most everything from scratch. We brine our own corned beef, patty, burgers daily, still hand grate cheese, and use nothing but farm fresh eggs.
Here at Josie’s we are known for our breakfast; offering omelets, hearty breakfast plates, eggs benedict, pancakes, and waffles. We also offer healthier items too.
Lunch offers homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and the best burgers in town.
Dinner has a separate menu including appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees .....there's something for everyone!!!
Our lunch menu offers 14 different sandwiches and burgers, including traditional favorites like the classic club, along with more personalized offerings such as Mamoo's chicken salad. Our famous Grouper Fingers, and Fresh Quiche and Quesadilla of the day is found on the menu, along with a quesadilla of the day. There are six salad offerings, including a Buffalo Chicken Salad, Baby Jen Salad, and an Asian chicken salad.
We are proud to have named Josie's after our wonderful daughter. Her brothers were less than thrilled, but at least they got some menu items named after them!
